🧵4/4 The board also needs a formal complaint system. Right now, community members are bringing concerns to public meetings because there’s no clear process for resolving them. While everyone has the right to speak during public comment and that won’t change, nor should it it’s.

🧵3/4 The community should be continuously consulted about how we can make things better for students. When people feel heard and included in the process, we’re less likely to see three hours of public comment fueled by frustration.

🧵2/4 The community isn’t the problem it’s the solution. Let’s make public comment more interactive. Some districts are using live surveys to gather feedback, while others are spreading public comment throughout the agenda to better connect voices with decisions.

🧵1/4 Here’s the truth: there’s a lot of work ahead, and we’re ready to take it on. I’ll be bringing forward proposals to help tackle the challenges we’ve encountered so far.

Is social spending only acceptable when it’s PPP loans and building packet switching, TCP/IP protocols, or the NSFNET all built by government. When it directly benefits people not businesses is we’re you draw the line?.

Does Zohrans city grocery store take it too far? Or is it the free bus that’s too far? Instead of having discussions about ideological branding let’s discuss what part of his policy brings up your red scare propaganda.

We currently have socialism for the rich and capitalism for the poor. Libraries, parks, and schools aren’t scary. Your career was made on technology that builds on technology (the internet) that was made by the government. There’s a debate about the balance so let’s have it.
