Despite the hits we have recently suffered, the Fannie Lou Hamer CTL keeps plowing ahead as best it can. We are continuing our critical work to rehabilitate the new house on Central Street that we have been working on. We will have a new house on line by the end of the summer.

This set back means that we can't reengage the Really, Really Free Market until we addressed this problem. And to address this problem we need your support. To acquire new air conditioning units we need to raise $70,000.

It was from the mold infection that we figured out that something was wrong with the air conditioner units. Turns out they were stripped and destroyed and we are going to have to replace them.

We had a good Kazi, i.e. a volunteer work session, today to clean out the grocery space at the Ida B. Wells Plaza. Unfortunately we had to throw away a lot of the materials that had been donated and amassed for the Really, Really Free Market because it was infected with mold.
