A thread on WHO is REALLY behind the #Balenciaga ads: The Devil In Disguise: Lotta Volkova 1. She has been one of the main stylist in Balenciaga since 2014. 2.She has a relationship with an accused pedophile. 3. We can't only boycott #Balenciaga but also the people behind it.

ICAO is strongly concerned by the apparent forced landing of a Ryanair flight and its passengers, which could be in contravention of the Chicago Convention. We look forward to more information being officially confirmed by the countries and operators concerned.

I’m so tired of seeing attention seeking, aviation Twitter posts by fellow pilots. Criticising fellow pilots in an attempt to make themselves look ‘oh so professional’. Where are all the humble Twitter pilots? Why are you seeking validation all the time? #quietprofessionalism

So much going on in the World in the last week or so. The one thing I’ve taken away from it all (as if I needed a reminder) is how toxic Twitter is. Can’t think of any other platform with so much hate being spewed on a daily basis. Sad.

Yikes! That’s quite the uncontained engine failure. A testament to how strong commercial airliners are built these days.

Disgraceful. What is wrong with people?! All he had to do was stay with her until help arrived, at the very least. Not much to ask for someone in need. Shocking.

Watch the moment the postman left a vulnerable pensioner lying in the snow because he was "too knackered" to help here.

Can someone tell me what an acceptable death rate would be for covid? Lots of people up in arms about the 100k. Fine. So what figure is acceptable to them?

It’s just hugely frustrating to scroll through Twitter and read people crying out for tougher and longer lockdowns and border restrictions every time a mutant strain is discovered. We can’t keep closing up shop every time this happens or else we’ll be locked down forever.

Are we going to repeatedly go into lockdown & close the boarders to every country that develops a new strain of CV? How many countries are there in the World? How many days, months, years will this take? Vaccine may not even be effective with these new strains as they mutate..

Re- the schools not closing. If you close schools many health workers won’t be able to work. Not good. If people aren’t happy, pull your kids out of school! Don’t wait for the gov to close them. Use head. Why do we have to wait for the gov to tell us what to do?! Common sense.

Stuff like this is heartbreaking. People only care about themselves and leave those who are most vulnerable with nothing. Shop normally, stop overbuying - it’s not going to make a difference if you have loads of toilet roll. Think about others and not just yourself #covidー19uk

So let me get this straight. The Guardian publishes a letter from 200 or so scientists objecting to government policy. Not a single one of whom has experience in the relevant fields and about a quarter of whom are PhD students. Pray tell @BBCNews why are you reporting it?

1. The govt strategy on #Coronavirus is more refined than those used in other countries and potentially very effective. But it is also riskier and based on a number of assumptions. They need to be correct, and the measures they introduce need to work when they are supposed to.
