AIPAC claims 5 million members. JStreet is about 200k. Let’s take those numbers as facts and say JStreet is 100% Jewish. For AIPAC to have the same number, 4% of its membership would have to be Jews. Doubt AIPAC is only 4% Jewish, more likely 30-40%+. So, no, not a fringe group.
And I have called Hamas a terrorist organization and called for the release of the hostages. @jstreetdotorg today represents mainstream Jewish American opinion and you guys have become a fringe group.

I don’t think people understand that the protestors’ rationale protesting Dems is so the Dems (and the voters that elect them) eventually all become anti-Israel. They’re not going to protest the Reps for this. Whether it’s going anywhere is questionable.

I’m actually more concerned about the right circle, regarding the hostages. If 40% of the 18-24 group think Hamas should not release the hostages without conditions, then that 40% see value in being terrorists and kidnapping people.
The kids are not alright. America needs to get real about the serious domestic extremism problem among its youth. A shocking 60% (!) of Gen-Z Americans support HAMAS — a proscribed terrorist organization — over democratic ally Israel.

No, there wasn’t.
After Oct. 7, 2023, there was enormous global sympathy for Israel. Netanyahu took that and through his brutality in Gaza ended up triggering what appears to be a historic shift in American attitudes toward the Middle East, so that people are now more sympathetic to Palestinians.
