We have been made aware of a QR code scam relating to RingGo machines which are used to pay for parking in Council owned car parks. These RingGo pay and display machines take cash for payment, however for anyone wishing to pay for parking via the RingGo app, they should download.

As part of #VulnerabilityWeek2025 we attended the latest Consumer Engagement and Advisory Panel hosted and chaired by the consumer protection team at the Utility Regulator @UREGNI . The session also saw representatives from @Economy_NI, @NIElectricity and the Utility Regulator.
