Earlier this month we made a visit to the Kenyan High Commission @kenyamissionuk in London. Our archivist @consularchivist met with staff to return archives from Shimo-La-Tewa Prison to Kenya. The records are now at their permanent home in the Kenya National Archives.

Today's image from the Historic England Archive is a view of Forton Service Station on the M6 motorway, Lancashire. It was photographed #OnThisDay in 1997. The design included a tower restaurant, built in 1964-65. See the List Entry👇 https://t.co/nukKZ65zfn

Wonderful experience at @bodleianlibs Kafka exhibition, coming face to face with his manuscripts to see his imagination flowing and stumbling onto the page

Long I’ve wandered to the churches of England. Past fields, marsh, and woodland. Beyond suburban estates and rushing commuter roads… I’ve shot 40k+ photos in those years. Here are 10 of my favourites down the years 1. The Church of St Mary and St Barlok, Norbury, Derbyshire

Ukrainian libraries are under attack. Help us raise £10,000 to send a mobile library from the UK to Ukraine
'We’ve heard heartbreaking stories from Ukraine – of libraries destroyed, collections burned and library workers killed,' says @HunterIsobel. By raising £10,000 for a mobile library, we aim to restore a small part of Ukraine's damaged library service. https://t.co/l6yVnU8Cip

Today’s #Archive30 is #ArchiveMyths We always thought our Girls’ Dux board was just inspired by Charles Rennie Macintosh’s style of lettering but a bit of digging by one of our volunteers and she found out it was actually created by him in 1906! #HutchieHistory
