Our producer reminds us that quote tweets aren't good for promoting URLs, so here's a repeat: F# eXchange is a fellow conference on the F# language and community, with talks and sessions by developers, for developers. 10 October 2021, online: https://t.co/jJSKuaEjEM

Melbourne::Compose loves Functional Programming, its languages and its communities. We also love our fellow Functional Programming conferences! <conference committee waves hi at @skillsmater> If you love F#, you may want to free up October 20, 2021:
I've been learning F# as I go through @ScottWlaschin's excellent Domain Modeling Made Functional book. It's a pleasure to read, with just the right amount of hand-holding that a determined junior could get through it by themselves... while being enjoyable for experienced coders.

Unfortunately, we won't be able to make a Compose::Melbourne 2021 conference happen. Thanks to all of you who got in touch, and let's hope we can get together again soon. https://t.co/FAbidJbkzX

PSA: If you're Spanish and you came to Compose 2019 or 2018, please go have a chat with @candeira. He remembers you well, just not your name or twitter handle. He just keeps repeating "dude's Spanish", which is fair, but also "and likes functional programming", which... Thanks!

This talk by @GeorgeTalksCode from Compose Melbourne on Propagators is an _excellent_ introduction to the topic. I confess he does a much better job motivating "why" to think this way than I do! https://t.co/XrbLUMrHJK

My brain always expands by 120% every time I watch one of George's talks. And don't let the title fool you, there are LAWS!

I'm enjoying re-watching old @composemelb videos. For instance, Andrew McCluskey's 2017 talk Your First Haskell App contains a valuable exposition of best practices for beginners. https://t.co/aDmbBuTDAK

A few people I’d run into over the last few months had started to talk about Compose Conf — a small functional programming conference…

So far, 43 of you have answered. There were almost 150 people at the conference. Can we get to 40 or 50 survey responses? Please RT far and wide.

@NessNimmo @ComposeMelb Or, alternatively, let us know how much you didn't love it! Criticism is good; we would very much like to improve the conference, and your feedback will help us learn where our attention is needed more.
