Until the sequencers are decentralized, the complaints have just been rebranded
we heard your complaints about PFOF and sudden trade restrictions during volatile conditions. that really sucked, right?. so we're migrating to blockchain: where we manage the sequencers that control transaction acceptance and ordering to prevent all of that!.

this is huge news for the industry, the standard for user UX (with strong vendor lock-in properties) is now owned by Stripe.
1/ Today, we're proud to announce that Stripe is acquiring Privy. We couldn’t be more excited. Privy will continue as an independent product – but now we’ll move faster, ship more, and serve you even better, so you can stay focused on your users.

Apple just needs to do 1 or 2 things:. 1. bump up the opacity and "light scatter".2. do #1 but make it dynamically adjusted, based on what is underneath it: wallpaper? nearly transparent. other OS interface? very opaque frosted glass with adjusted saturation or brightness.
its clear that Apple is in a transition point and trying to make the personal compute experience cater to the visionOS aesthetic. Liquid Glass could work really well with visionOS, where your surroundings are important. but it clearly has some subpar qualities on black mirrors.

Not going to matter long term, only a handful of stablecoins survive and succeed. They’d probably find more success in participating in un(der)collateralized loans a la @WildcatFi.
Every private bank and financial services company I’ve spoken to today is planning to launch a stablecoin.

@newmichwill claims desktop apps.industry incumbent obviously is still websites + extensions.
This article quotes some of my opinions on DeFi safety: briefly that DeFi and web don't quite mix well if we want to be bullet-proof safe. Too controversial, or change is indeed needed?.

this is cool, lots of weird stuff that prob comes from this. been wondering how long itd take for a bigger team to utilize unified swap+lending liquidity.
1/ Introducing EulerSwap. A smarter DEX with lending-boosted yield, deeper just-in-time liquidity, and native support for LP positions as collateral. Supercharged by Euler lending infra.
