How it started. How it ended. Joplin, MO 2011. The first shot is approx 8 min or so before the tornado touched down, not long after we core punched through the FFD. #wxtwitter

A wave got me. Crashed up over the seawall & threw me against the patio railing, then penetrated deep into the hotel restaurant. I'm ok—just scratches & bruises. A good lesson about respecting the power of water! (Watch to the end.) #Typhoon #FUNGWONG in #Philippines

Significant storm surge at our hotel earlier almost swept multiple people. Scariest moment of my life. @OreboundImages @MyRadarWX

Happy Quake-nado day! 14 years ago today already...epic tornadoes in southwest Oklahoma, then a 4.9 magnitude earthquake to finish it off. Just 2 days prior, Oklahoma had it's largest earthquake ever, at 5.7 mag. #okwx #wxtwitter Link to video: https://t.co/HjLSzeIxoD

June 26, 2018 - Douglass, KS One last shot from this day. It was one of those days where everything was photogenic. Mothership emerging from the haze. It went tornado warned shortly after this and got to listen to the sirens going off in town as it approached. #kswx #wxtwitter

https://t.co/4vqaoH2bF4 Just 3 days after an epic intercept of hurricane Michael, we got 2 tornadoes in TX on the drive back from FL. That’s we’re spawn from the remnants of hurricane Sergio from the Pacific. #txwx #wxtwitter

Sagona Island, Newfoundland recently recorded a gust to 96 mph. A bit ago it had a gust to 81 mph. Not even on the sting jet portion of this low. Not sure how reliable this site is, but pretty nuts if accurate. #nfwx

76 mph gust on Sable Island as the rapidly deepening low moved by. A pressure of approx 968 mb was also observed. Models have this continuing to deepen to *possibly* as low as the upper 940s off the coast of Newfoundland later today. #nsstorm

June 26, 2018 - Douglass, KS Another shot of this mothership as it was sitting a bit north of town. Should have stayed a bit further back for better structure shots, but wanted to be closer incase it wanted to produce a tornado. It did not. #kswx

Duncan’s Cove, Nova Scotia Wind gusts of 45-50 mph creating some large waves along the coast. Finally getting some more much needed rain here too. This is “NOT” from the remnants of Melissa (some wave action maybe), but a deep low (978 mb) over Maine/Quebec. #NSstorm

Here’s a few quick clips of what it was like inside the eyewall of #Melissa where we were at. Only have limited battery and cell service so this will be all I can share for now. LINK - https://t.co/syGqoeK3hu

5 years ago yesterday, I documented the craziest ice storm I’ve ever seen. 1.5-2” ice accumulations in a narrow swath near Calumet, OK. #okwx #wxtwitter
