Large parts of #Denham Country Park are accessible once more, following the completion of improvement works by @BCCountryParks. The area is now open for public access as far as the entrance to Widow’s Cruise Covert at the northern end of the park.

Many thanks to these enthusiastic #volunteers from @AWS. They worked hard cutting back buddleia and sycamore shoots to let more light reach the woodland floor and encourage #biodiversity at #Denham Quarry Woodlands @Hillingdon. #AmazonInCommunities #Conservation

We have recently been carrying out work to eradicate an invasive non native species with the unlikely name of skunk cabbage, from Hardings Row #NatureReserve #Iver Heath and on the River Alderbourne. Thanks to @AffinityWater and NEP Biodiversity Group.

Last Thursday, we had a wonderful Geology Day at Northmoor Hill Wood in #Denham. It was a real pleasure to see people of all ages from our local communities learning about their local woods from the experts at the Bucks Geology Group. #FestivalFortnight
