In the Winter 2025 issue of Groundtastic (GT123) we look at the two grounds of Forest of Dean club Lydbrook Athletic, the first of which villagers dug out of a spoil heap using picks and shovels. Buy here: https://t.co/pAYn9j2daj

Full preview of cropped at https://t.co/0ptodYkeqh Each image has been found within an otherwise average shot through careful cropping. As the pics show there’s not a single standard 6x4 to be seen, read the features at the start and end to find out why and how.

Issue 265 of Welsh Football is in preparation for printing and I will be sharing details this week. But in the meantime we've produced a booklet containing updates to our Gazetteer (ground directory) published a year ago, for the bargain price of £3 Inc postage. (Or £8 for both)

An enjoyable day out at @LlanAFC where a 5-1 scoreline for @PonthirAFC maybe reflected the second half, but by no means the whole match, as first half was even and rightly 0-0.

I’ve subscribed to Welsh Football for years and always read cover-cover. The latest issue was for me the best ever. My main interest when reading is of course grounds, and the photos in this issue were good, taken so as to show the scenic backdrops or club facilities, stands etc.
