On Friday, we swore in our two newest Officers! Officer Jones began his law enforcement career in 2014, and has worked with two other local agencies. Officer Hiter retired from the US Postal Inspection Service. Help us welcome Officer Jones and Officer Hiter to the team!

Yesterday, our Patrol Officers enjoyed stopping by the Saddlebrook Neighborhood block party! They visited with residents of all ages, and hope everyone had a fun time! Thanks for the invite! 😀

On Friday, Det. Prater had an informational table at the Colleyville Senior Center’s Health Fair. With his expertise in elder fraud and a variety of scams, he was able to provide valuable information to attendees.

Today, we remember the life of CPD Reserve Ofcr Dennis E. Harrell #132, who was killed in the line of duty on 9/12/1980. Each year, we commemorate Officer Harrell’s service to the city with a display in our lobby, and with his flag flown at half staff. #NeverForget #LODD #EOW

Today, we participated in the GHS Wrestling Team's 6th Annual 9/11 Tribute Climb. We all paid tribute to the emergency responders who died on 9/11, and all lives lost in the aftermath. We appreciate the support of Mayor Lindamood, Chief Miller, @GCISD Admin, and School Board.

Yesterday, members of CPD swung in the @SOTexas ‘Unified Fore Joy’ ProAm, hosted at @Topgolf. We’re thankful to be sponsored by the City of Colleyville to participate in this event! Our team placed 3rd out of 44 LE teams, and had a great time getting to know their athlete, Danny!

Tomorrow is our Summer intern’s last day with us! Evan’s a Criminal Justice major at TCU, and applied for this position to see if a career in law enforcement was the right path for him. We’re sad to see him leave, but we hope to see his application before next summer! 😉
