One lucky student from each grade level at elementary schools who enjoyed a lunch plate received a copy of the book, and another was donated to the schools. Taco ‘bout a great day!

Today was Literacy Lunch at all elementary campuses, one of the many fun ways that GCISD’s Nutrition Services connects learning to the cafeteria. Students enjoyed taco pizza inspired by the book “Dragons Love Tacos,” which Superintendent Dr. Brad Schnautz read at @GHESGators.

Prior to the football game, the CTMS Athletics Booster Club accepted donations and sold “Simmons Strong” bracelets with the proceeds going toward the Simmons family and her cancer treatment.

Yesterday, the @CTMSWolfWay community rallied together to show support for @HESRegalEagle teacher Jane Simmons, whose husband is also a teacher at CTMS.

Our next Gold Card session is at 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 21, at the Administration Building. GCISD residents 65 years+ who attend will receive the card, which grants free admission to district fine arts & athletics (excluding playoffs) events. Please arrive 10 minutes early.

Congratulations to the @CHPantherPride & @Grapevine_HS Marching Bands! Both earned the top rating of superior from all judges at the UIL Region 31 contest today and now advance to the Area Competition on Saturday, November 1, at the Birdville ISD Fine Arts/Athletics Complex.
