Dismayed to see you sharing such a misleading & potentially deeply frightening video, Kim. If someone is in 'unspeakable pain' at the end of life, they should see a palliative care doctor like me - & I can promise you there is always something I can do for your pain. (1/n)

That’s quite normal with Down syndrome people. They are very much creatures of habit. They don’t like any change in their routine.

Well I’m pro-choice but this breaks my heart. Down Syndrome is caught in a pincer grip between sophisticated state of the art govt sponsored prenatal screens and a collapsing underfunded welfare state. 87.2% of DS foetuses identified were terminated post introduction of #NIPT 💔

Heidi is my hero. 24 weeks is fair for everyone. Currently it is legal to terminate a pregnancy of a baby who has Down’s syndrome up to the day of birth. I believe this has to be changed. Disability discrimination should be challenged. #Equalityat24

A law that treats us differently because of our characteristics doesn’t meet 2024 standards. Yet we have a law that does just that after 24 weeks of pregnancy where abortion can still be offered up to birth if Down syndrome is confirmed.
