Team Good Shepherd was delighted to host the Enigma Twirl Team as they made their preparations for Chard Carnival - and then cheer them on in the procession.

What a lovely day we’ve had! A splendid Mass with Bishop Paul at the Good Shepherd, followed by a trip to Wells for Bishop Paul’s commissioning as an Assistant Bishop in @BathWells by Bishop Michael @ChurchesHealthy

Fr Julian Laurence licensed to @CofGSChard for interim post alongside his work at Holy Trinity Taunton. Joyous coming together of both congregations in company of Bishop of Oswestry.

What a joy to welcome Bishop Paul and Archdeacon Simon to our Mass this morning, during which Fr Julian was licensed as our Interim Minister. We had a lovely lunch too!

Lovely to welcome our friends from churches around Chard for a service to end the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. All seven churches led sections of the service and then enjoyed a plentiful selection of cakes!
