The flip side of this is that they would've been even worse offensively if they hadn't changed their style amid roster turnover. There could certainly be merit in that. But my point is that the mere existence of an offensive style doesn't mean much until there's efficiency.

Bulls like to tout how they established a fast-paced playing style last season, but the fallacy is they weren’t better offensively. They ranked 20th in NBA with a 113.2 offensive rating in 2024-’25. They ranked 19th in the NBA with a 114.0 offensive rating in 2023-’24.

Jerry and Michael Reinsdorf as well as Billy Donovan were among those in the Bulls draft room last night, Marc Eversley told @mullyhaugh. Eversley says Donovan was on the same page as the front office with the Noa Essengue selection.
