That's grim and most manager's would be looking for a new job. But he was Big Jim's idea, and sacking him would be an admission of fault, which billionaire's don't particularly seem to be good at.

@Mobyhaque1 Cherki gives the ball up a lot, he's also positionally quite ill disciplined at times, and I mean that as he's more a maverick on the ball. Can be great to watch but not for a systems coach like Slot. Simons, would be a more natural fit and therefore generate more game minutes.

FFP drove debt down throughout European football. Post Covid, English clubs have reversed this trend. Chelsea should've been sanctioned under Abramovich, and state ownership should've been banned from the off. But clubs need to take responsibility for their current spending.
Well it does have something to do with PSR because at one time it didn't exist so some clubs could spend whatever they liked, build a huge club in order to have lots of wiggle room. And go back in time and most clubs wages to turnover were ridiculously high. PSR affected clubs.
