Only one team wins the last game of their year. That last L of the season is always the toughest because of how much of ourselves we invest in each other. Luckily it’s a lifelong investment that pays off in friendships as adults.
End of the high school baseball season is coming. I warn athletes. Most of the seniors are going to cry when it’s over. Even the ones who are going to play college ball. Leave it all out there.
