So far, there are only 3 schools to have girls in all the TSSAA largest class state tournaments so far this season. Science Hill, Summit, and Siegel. Our female athletes work hard and get results! @SiegelAthletics @SiegelVball @CoachKSmith1 @SiegelGolf

BOOM!! @SiegelSoccer defeats Rhea County 1-0 in the @TSSAA Sectional to earn a spot in the State Tournament next week in Chattanooga. This is the Lady Stars 4 appearance in the last 6 years and 13th overall. Great job ladies!! #P2BASS

All athletes should lift heavy weights. Why? Itโs one of the best ways to train type 2 muscle fibres. Type 2 fibres are responsible for explosive actions, eg sprinting & jumping. Theyโre only recruited if theyโre really needed & theyโre needed when lifting heavy weights.
