The attraction to Southwest is gone. Suggestions to make money reward the people… better yet entice the customer who checks bags and DO NOT have a carry on with offering to buy a seat that gets you off the plane without the wait for people find their carry on in the overhead.
If Southwest Airlines had assembled a focus group and asked them "what's the stupidest thing that we could do to ruin our company," this is what they would have come up with.
