IMO “running off the football” is not universally the same. Veer teams will look different from gap teams per technique. Get your first two steps in the ground before the man in front of you with great angles and a strong base, and you win.
The longer I coached, the more I believed in the OL "Get Off" You can't just talk about it tho. It has to be practiced! I'm a sled guy, but this pre-prac drill I saw last year in Fulshear, TX w/ @coachcodutti works too! What's the drill in your program to emphasize get offs?
