3. Simple translates - The goal is to ensure the work players put in translates to games. - Work Catch & Shoot/Scoring off 1 or 2 dribbles (3 max), playing off of two feet, using screens effectively, using body to create space, etc. - Having a “bag” is overrated.

2. COMFORT IS OVERRATED If you can, avoid coaching at the school you played at. It’s just a different dynamic — and not always a helpful one. Be uncomfortable as a GA. Be uncomfortable in your first real assistant job. Growth lives there.
