Tonight, Avery Smith became the 3rd player in our 2026 class to reach 1,000 points and the 16th in Lady Maroon history. We are blessed and truly grateful for Avery's accomplishments. Not only can she score it, but she's the best post passer we've ever coached.

Do our offensive and defensive systems have to show alignment? Can they be opposites? Why can't I take what is hard to score on and defend that way? Meanwhile, at the same time, take what makes it easier to score and do that. Even a Ferrari spends some time in the garage. 🤷♂️

The CIC will move Monday's tournament games to Wednesday. The Lady Maroons are still on schedule for Tuesday. We will tip at 7:30 against W-L at Meridian High School. The girls are 20-4 on the year and have won 16 in a row.
