2. If the trainer needs a coach to take a player to the doctor, be the one who drives them. People won’t forget who was there when they needed help.

1. If someone needs a ride to the airport volunteer to take them. They will remember who stepped up when everyone else didn’t want to drive. It also gives you time in the car 1v1.

A hill I will die on: Sometimes the opportunity is more important than the salary. My first coaching job was $3k, the next one was $5k, and when I was 27 I worked for free like many coaches do. You’re not late you’re right on time.

Networking 101: If you’re looking for an open GA spot sometimes they aren’t listed on the website. Go to the media guide and look under support staff. If they are in their second year that means the spot will be open after graduating.
