Training frequency is extremely underrated. You’ve just gotta leverage it correctly. Making sure you’ve got just “enough” training volume in a session and not “too much” that you hinder your recovery ability. All things being equal in terms of set quality/execution…I’ll give

“Callisthenics is better than lifting iron” Proper smooth brain take. You ever thought about combining it all? Weighted dips/pull ups in combination of some deadlifts/bench presses/machine work? That’s the winning ticket.

Hacks today. Full send legs in an empty gym on a Sunday. Nice +1 and had to really battle for it. Love sets like this 🎯

There’s a lot of people who won’t utilise a coach because it’s “free on the internet” Yet they look the same year on year. Physique never changes for the better. There’s a massive difference between knowing what to do and actually executing the plan. Gotta get out the way

So many people complicate back training. Pick a deadlift variation…get strong. Pick a row variation…get strong. Pick a pull-up/pulldown variation….get strong. Repeat for 10 years. Magic.

Calorie friendly drinks for over Christmas. -Vodka/Soda/Lime -Gin/Tonic -Tequila/Soda -Rum/Diet coke -Light beers -Beers/Zero cal lemonade (shandy in the UK) Few options if you "want" to enjoy and keep calories in check. Merry Christmas.

V-Bar Pushdown tips 1) Keep elbows tucked in by your side (imagine you’ve superglued your elbows against rib cage) don’t let them flare out. 2) Don’t turn this into some gloried shoulder/chest press when you lean over excessively (it’s a tricep pushdown not a chest press) 3)

Reflecting on the last year of training. Apart from a weeks holiday in September…haven’t missed a session. So that’s 51 weeks of 4 sessions a week. 204/204 legit sessions boxed off. Ruthless consistency is the “non flashy” fundamental.

Travelling/training over the holidays? Visiting family, different gyms etc, less time…all normal. 1) Get what you can in (Combining some sessions together if need be…Full body sessions can work well in a time crunch so you’re hitting every muscle…combining your push/pull

Fixing joint issues with your training? -Drop some load/control your movements -Potenially scale back on volume on effected area -Are you taking “too aggressive” load jumps weekly? -Are you training area with too much frequency? Few areas I’d troubleshoot.

“Come back to me in your 40’s and see if you’re doing that” Brother…don’t project your bullshit cope onto me. Just because you trained like a fucking gobshite in your 20’s/30’s and are paying the price now. Some of us are smarter than that.

The process. Really happy the way the physique is shaping up right now. Legs have stepped forward in fullness/thickness over the last year. Upper/Lower training allows me to hit legs every 3/4 days with accurate, hard sets. You’ll also tell who’s been doing their deadlift
