Look for Jaxon Edwards to have a breakout senior season at IU-Indy. The 6’5” super athletic wing averaged 7.3 ppg & 4.9 rpg as a starter at Valparaiso in 2023-2024, but was limited to just five games at St. Bonaventure last year due to injury. Major upside as a 3-and-D guy.

Rise & Grind!!! Boots on the ground this morning at Cathedral High School who should once again compete among the top of Class 3A. They went 20-5 last year. Seniors Keaton Aldridge Jr., Julien Smith, and R’Mani Wells will lead the Fighting Irish this season.

Always good getting out to see @CoachDelaney & @cathedralmball. Consistently one of the best programs in the state of Indiana. This year Cathedral has a trio of very talented seniors to the lead the way, but there are some up-and-coming pieces as well. Freshman class has STUDS!

Final: Howard Pulley 15u 66 Indy Heat 15u 65 Le’Shawn Hill finished with 28 points for Indy Heat while Dylan Zeigler added 20 points. Those two guards out of Ohio are very talented. Jaxson Delany (Cathedral H.S. 2028) had 9 points and 8 rebounds.

Jaxson Delaney (Cathedral H.S. 2028) has a couple of BIG buckets for Indy Heat 15u down the stretch. He’s given them the lead twice. However, Howard Pulley 15u just hit a 3 to go up 66-65 with 36.4 seconds left.

Indy Heat 17u used a 22-2 run to briefly tie the game, and had a shot in the air to tie it at the end, but lost by 3 to All Ohio Red 17u. I don’t have final stats, but both Nate Miles for All Ohio and Keaton Aldridge Jr. for Indy Heat had to have over 20 points each.

Once trailing by 20 points, Keaton Aldridge Jr. has led a WILD run by Indy Heat 17u to cut their deficit to one. All Ohio Red 17u leads 57-56 with 4:59 to play.
Keaton Aldridge Jr. (Cathedral H.S. 2026) has been a bright spot in this one for Indy Heat 17u. The 6’3” lefty wing is such a creative scorer. He is essentially ambidextrous as a driver and finisher. Absorbs contact incredibly well. He’s a very good passer as well.

Keaton Aldridge Jr. (Cathedral H.S. 2026) has played very well in this one for Indy Heat 17u. Such a versatile 6’3” wing. Excellent interior scorer, but also is an elite passer and can initiate the break with his ball handling and/or outlet passing ability. Tough matchup.
