Sandburg was 1-4 and looked to have no chance at the playoffs with L-Way East and H-F still on schedule. Guess what? Sandburg is 4-4 and can become playoff eligible with a win Friday over L-Way Central. Week 9 drama.

The OL put on a CLINIC last night. 340 Yards on the ground rushing and a W. Coaching this group is one of my proudest moments in my life. These young men have accomplished so much in the game of football but they will achieve even more in the game of life!!

Push Pull Mirror Drill. DL is locked up on chest and back of the head of OL. DL is trying push pull the OL. OL is fight pressure with pressure. Sprawling feet when fighting the bullrush. Pulling head and chest back to fighting the push pull. OL mirrors the DL . OL favorite 😉

@CoachShiffman A4: Always had an undersized lineman and always ran both gap and zone. Never had an issue, just really have to stress technique. Rep every look possible. Make the game easy for them to play fast. Playing fast and physical eliminates any size advantage. #hogfbchat.

@CoachDingus A1: We were able to get a Crowther sled this season and it’s the only sled I’ll ever use. Perfect for learning footwork and striking near foot near shoulder. Also got the @TheTorqueKing this offseason, it’s gonna pay off big time next season. #hogfbchat.

#58 offensive lineman Judeh Ali has played for 4 yrs. Best memory:first time as a varsity starter. Favorite athlete:Jason Kelce,great lineman & funny person. Judeh is inspired by his parents who motivate him to be his best. Judeh will study software engineering in college.
