I am extremely excited to say I will be a PE teacher for Pine Creek Elementary and Bennington High School and joining the HS football coaching staff. I can’t thank
@DoaneUniversity
and
@DoaneFootball
enough for the experiences, memories, and relationships that will last forever!

exactly 365 days ago. It’s been life changing. I love being a Tiger because of the people, I’ve learned and grown so much in one year. ‘22 is going to be so special, I can’t wait to see these kids make their dreams come true tomorrow
Truly blessed for my first season at Doane and especially for the players and seniors. Special group of guys who are all going to be impactful leaders in the world. They made me better
Joining the Doane Tiger family is one of the greatest decisions I’ve ever made. Can’t wait to get going again with my wideouts and the rest of the squad!
Blessed to see 27 years! Besides the love from all the people in my life, getting back onto the football field with Spring Ball tomorrow is the greatest gift I could receive!!!! 🏈🐅🏈🐅🙏🙏🙏
Extremely blessed to be associated with our seniors and leadership in this program. I would strap it up for every one of our guys who spoke tonight. The family tradition
@DoaneFootball
is unlike any other!
I miss our guy Cole every day. He is the reason I teach. I miss talking about the Niners and playing Weddle. I’ll never forget his first catch. Just the best kid ever.
Recruiting advice:
1. Go where you’re wanted
2. Go where you see yourself happy
3. Meet the players
4. Meet the strength coach
5. Coaches aren’t supposed to be your friends. They’re supposed to make you better
6. Last but not least wheres nearest chipotle/doba type place
First of many recruiting visits for football this fall at Doane. My nieces Regan (ATH c/o ‘32) and Mackinley (ATH c/o ‘34) took a surprise unofficial today!
One of the greatest Lopers and friends and role model to many. I just talked to him about speaking to my guys. You truly made the world and myself better. 💙 99
Thankful my dad was my 1st fball coach and taught every kid no matter the size how to block/tackle. Gave us options and the tools to play any position in the future. Remember we did full speed angle tackling drills or Oklahoma“until I see an NFL highlight tackle” in 5th grade 😂
Doing jumping jacks
2nd grader: Mr Brauer your armpits are all sweaty
Let me tell you something class, that’s gonna happen to me often and I just embrace it and enjoy it cuz we’re active lol 😂
Last day of mental health awareness month. Stats/resources get posted a lot, but sometimes u need to hear that someone is going thru it too. I have major depression and gen. anxiety disorder. I’m a highly functioning person and you can be too. S/O my therapist/med provider! 😤
Tell somebody you love them today. Tell somebody you’re thinking about them today. Tell somebody you miss them today. Give a stranger a compliment today. Kindness matters. Be intentional with your love!!!

Happy National Girls and Women in Sports Day. My mom wasn’t allowed to play sports in high school back in the day, but then coached the first ever Seward girls bball JV team and went undefeated. Very proud of that
I feel like in football at least if you build your fundamentals and craft, your mental and emotional skills, your focus, weight room, nutrition, be a good guy and build the others around you up, your “brand” just takes care of itself.
Plenty to fix in this country but we could get the ball rolling by fixing having ncaa ships played on Monday nights at 8:20. 9:20 for the east coast kids trying to watch!

Sarge is the best coach I’ve ever had any sport, any level. I was at the lowest of my depression battles going into my final year. Sarge met with me individually to help me finish strong physically and mentally. I wish every kid would be coached by someone like that man
Grateful beyond measures to attend my first

Coaches Convention with
@DoaneFootball

@BenBerreckman88
have a good camp, Coach! I just found this pic of you keeping me safe in the pocket in warm ups I’m gonna miss this lol (unfair I have week 8ish arms compared to strength coach arms in this but whatever)
Can’t believe this was almost a decade ago. Kid got a pick six in an arm cast. Pay no attention to that score lol. Love you and miss you every day 24 💙
Seven benefits of playing multiple sports:
1. Improves athleticism.
2. Prevents injuries.
3. Improves mental toughness.
4. Improves leadership.
5. Makes you a better teammate.
6. Improves mental health.
7. Improves character and helps you excel in areas outside of sports.
Take care of your mentals. Lane, Dak, K Love, DeRozan, etc. are all great ambassadors for breaking the stigma that comes from mental health issues. Takes all of us to help each other! I’ve had major depression/anxiety since hs. It can’t stop us together! It won’t stop YOU!
@StrengthDebates
Stay in shape and eat healthy still, give back to younger athletes, coach, volunteer, find joy in helping others reach their athletic goals, introduce sports to people, have something that keeps you competitive that motivates you
