RECRUITS. Don't mistake "Division" for "Level of Competition". The 2nd place team in our league last season went 7-3 at DI this season. SECOND PLACE in the MIAC = 7-3 at DI. They also happened to beat a few FCS schools that we recruit against b/c its a "higher level". 👀

This season we were the 5th fastest team at any level. Tempo cut our offense in half & streamlined meetings/practices. We practiced our habits BETWEEN plays as much (if not more) than our habits DURING. - O/S guys get the ball to I/S guys. - I/S guys get the ball to the Umpire.

Having worked on mostly small staffs I've become a "drill minimalist". One of our favorite things to do at Carleton is find simple ways to add QB movement wherever we can - even basic "Run The Line" drills like this one. QB focus is on staying open to MOF & being target specific
