Online earlier, I saw on @VeoliaUK that there would be temporarily extended opening, resulting in more slots. Residents have been struggling to book for a tip visit during these on-going Bin Strikes, so I hope threre genuinely is more availability. โน๏ธ

I reported this yesterday & was told it would be dealt with urgently. This morning, I am pleased to say the dumped waste has been cleared & the car park sluiced clean: thanks to the Crews working in the dark so that the area was ready for the start of the new working day. ๐๐ป. 3/.

I've never seen anything like it in Birmingham! Local Residents were approaching me, not only to comment on their horror at what was happening at this site, but also about their issues with the non-collection of their bins, the associated fly-tipping, the smell, the rats . 2/.

Last night, I went to the Tyseley MHWC site, where I had been earlier, to see for myself the rubbish that had been left. Since I was first alerted to it, it had increased &, though my high-vis deterred some people, others were still pulling-up & fly-tipping as I stood there! . 1/
