Very pleased to have been voted in for another four years as Leader of Breckland Council by all the Councillors present today. Thank you to Mike Nairn for everything he has done over the last year as Chairman and thanking those unsung hero’s of the District.
At our AGM meeting this morning, councillors selected @CllrSamuelC_A as Leader, @wilkinson1ps as Chairman and @CllrTerryJermy as Vice-Chair. Congratulations to all and huge thanks to outgoing Chairman @MikeNairn1 for his service.

Great @districtcouncil meeting today! We discussed the crucial role of Districts in Integrated Care Systems, ensuring seamless healthcare for our communities. However, we're still concerned about the Government's waste reform proposals and are lobbying for a better outcome.

Fantastic to have the support of @JaneMHunt as the chairman of the APPG. Brilliant mini spring conference talking about the challenges but also the opportunities which lay ahead.
As Chair of the APPG on District Councils, it was great to attend @districtcouncil's Mini Conference earlier where I had the chance to catch up with the DCN Chair, @CllrSamuelC_A and Director, James Hood. There were some brilliant speakers and plenty of great ideas.
