I have seen local North Devon small hospitality businesses announce cuts to opening hours this week. It’s frightening. These people are the lifeblood of coastal communities and provide opportunities for young people. Governments don’t create jobs, businesses do!.
We’ve written to the PM about the stark reality of tax increases on hospitality. Last month’s survey showed the effect on business with a third operating at a loss and this is the reality for workers with hours and jobs slashed - we are being #TaxedOut

Watching @itvnews piece on Vape Spiking. Children as young as 13 affected. Why are we allowing this to happen. Vapes should be prescription only for those quitting smoking. Ban all other vape products, what are we doing to our kids! @StampOutSpiking #BanVaping.

Listening to our Shadow Minister for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs @_RobbieMoore talking about the negative impacts Labour policies are having on farming and food production in the UK. Food security is paramount. We must hold this Labour government to account.

50 years ago Margaret Thatcher became leader of the Conservative Party. I don’t think we have seen such a strong leader of any party since. I also feel we are sadly moving a long way from those freedoms she believed in. #Conservativewomen

So the Chancellor thinks people will judge her on her ability to grow the economy and improve their lives, not on her questionable CV? I don’t think she’s winning on either front 🤔.
'Did you enhance your CV to make yourself look better qualified to be the Chancellor of the Exchequer if you won the election?'. Richard questions the Chancellor about her CV.
