The Clinton Public School District’s Board of Trustees approved the recommendation to name former ULM and Jones College coach John Carr as the new head coach of the Clinton Arrows.
MDE announced the appointment of Mr. Brett Robinson as the State Career and Technical Education Director.
CPSD is excited for Mr. Robinson's new opportunity and wish him the best as he continues to impact educators both at home in Clinton and across the state of Mississippi.
One of our favorite traditions on the seniors' last day is the Senior Walk where our graduating seniors get cheered on by our elementary-aged Arrows as they walk the halls of their former schools.

The Clinton Public School District earned an A-Rating from the Mississippi Department of Education’s accountability system, the highest possible academic rating a Mississippi school district can attain.
With MDE officially releasing the 2023 MAAP scores CPSD once again finds itself at the top! Clinton recorded the highest scores in the state for 4th grade math, 5th grade math, 8th grade math and 8th grade ELA. There's to celebrate, but we can't think of a better place to start!

This win marks 23 straight Grand Champion Title won by Attaché, breaking the previous record of 22 straight Grand Champion Titles previously held by Attaché.

Athletic Director Dr. Brian Fortenberry was recognized by the CPSD Board of Trustees during the December board meeting for being named Athletic Director of the Year by the Mississippi Athletic Administrators Association.
Students in Lana Howell’s and Jayden Smith’s special education classes served up coffee to teachers at Eastside Elementary as “Green Mile Coffee” group.
The students took orders and provided all the fixings for a good cup of coffee Friday morning.

Over 60% of the parents grew up playing soccer; 30% of parents playing select or club soccer.
25% played collegiate soccer, and over 40% played in high school.
20% played for CHS. One mom had a direct hand in forming Clinton’s Lady Arrows soccer team.
CHS graduate Tanner DeYoung was recently named a Fulbright Finalist.
DeYoung has been offered funding to study the history of politics and society abroad at Utrecht University in Utrecht, Netherlands following his graduation in May.
Eastside and Northside were ranked in 's Top 25 Elementary Schools in Mississippi.
Eastside topped the list as the No. 1 Elementary School in the state with Northside ranked as No. 5.
It really was a fun night celebrating this year's academic rating as a family.

It’s quite an accomplishment to score a perfect 36 on the ACT, but to do it twice is a feat in itself.
Samuel Connelly scored his first perfect 36 in 2021. He scored his second perfect score in March of 2022.

Clinton High School Senior Kaylee Wrather received a Letter of Commendation for the National Merit Scholarship. Students who receive a letter of commendation are eligible to become candidates for special merit scholarships sponsored by statewide agencies and corporate sponsors.
