After 4+ years at Synthesis, much of it leading engineering for Tutor, I've resigned. It was a blessing working with such a talented team on a category leading product. I will always cherish my time at Synthesis. Now it's time to forge a new path at @sage_teacher. AI teaching

Screen time shouldn't end in a meltdown. Sage helps your child focus, stay calm, and build real math and science skills.
Some news: I resigned as Head of Product for the Synthesis Tutor. Friday was my last day. I am VERY excited for what's coming next. Follow along: @sage_teacher and https://t.co/amPH8ipiKe To date, no one has built a system that can generate reliable, interactive, visceral

Unfortunate the only type of shot we took this hunting season. Still great quality time with my daughter!

So may EU folks in the comments trying to defend the regulation and pin it on the individual leveraging the regulation... They just can't help but love state authority over every aspect of their lives.

I heard Gemini 3 can tell me where my wife really wants to go out for dinner when she says "I don't care"
@code_star I heard Gemini 3 answers questions before you ask them. And that it can talk to your cat.

Redirecting an LLM once it's gone down a path is like pulling teeth. Often easier to just start a fresh conversation than get it to forget what it wanted to do previously.
One of the things about LLMs is that the dumber they act, the dumber they get They love to use their own previous behavior as a model for their next behaviors and the consequence is that the first time they do something dumb they tend to lock into it

New technology always displaces jobs. It also opens up new possibilities that didn't exist before. This is literally how economies grow and abundance increases. The change is always uncomfortable during the transition, especially if the transition is short. But we shouldn't stop

FSD is truly incredible. I don't think many people, including Tesla owners, understand how good it is now. It's still very much in the early adopters phase. It'll change everything when it moves into the early majority.
I took delivery of a beautiful new shiny HW4 Tesla Model X today, so I immediately took it out for an FSD test drive, a bit like I used to do almost daily for 5 years. Basically... I'm amazed - it drives really, really well, smooth, confident, noticeably better than what I'm used

Forgot I even had this. I got a year trial and maybe used it for a couple weeks.

Anyone run any comparisons of this vs @DeepgramAI flux?
🚨 ElevenLabs just killed every transcription tool on the market. They dropped Scribe v2 Realtime and it's not just another speech-to-text model. This thing processes audio in real-time with zero lag, handles multiple speakers, and actually understands context not just words.

composer-1 in @cursor_ai is addictive to use. It's so freaking fast. Not quite as smart as a couple of the other models, but if you aren't letting it go hog wild in your code, it does great.

I assume the democrats are for ending the filibuster. They have been wanting to do so for a number of years.

He’s a fascist if he does fascist things and a fascist if he doesn’t do fascist things.
You might not be able to watch Monday Night Football tonight. Why? When companies get too big, they have the power to cut off your favorite channels. That's what's happening here. And what's Trump done about it? He's let them get away with it.
