Are we getting offended by someone offering beta nowadays? It should be standard practice for climbers to look out for each other.
This video rubs me the wrong way. It’s a dangerous attitude that I see often among people whose confidence is greater than their competence. In climbing, it’s common courtesy to offer “beta” to other climbers. Beta is useful information about a route that usually isn’t found in
