I’ve hesitated to say this at the risk of sounding hyperbolic, but with last week’s big GDP revisions, there is no denying it: This is among the best performing economies in my 35+ years as an economist. Economic growth is rip-roaring, with real GDP up 3% over the past year.

Now more than ever, addressing our most pressing challenges requires bipartisan leadership. While serving in the White House, I saw how @BioCommission played an indispensable role in protecting the country from pandemics and biological threats. I'm honored to join the commission.
Dr. @DrAshaMGeorge, Executive Director of the Bipartisan Commission on Biodefense, today announced that Dr. @rajpanjabi, renowned physician and entrepreneur, has joined the Commission as an Ex Officio member. https://t.co/Xy3iwKPMQL

#Nonprofit #hospitals, representing 49 percent of America’s hospitals, pay no #taxes. In exchange for this, they’re supposed to improve #communityhealth. @tati_c_santos of @TulaneSPHTM asks: Why aren’t they doing more? https://t.co/nxGQur2t7P

Thank you @rparloff for covering this trial so expertly and comprehensively. It has been a huge public service.
And here's @lawfareblog's tentative partial jury verdict chart. My only hesitance is I'm not 100% positive if the convictions for cts 7, 9, & 10 were for felonies or a for lesser included misdemeanors. When they post the verdict form I'll know for sure. /10-end
