A couple of gravid Garden Cross Spiders (Araneus diadematus) found recently. Amazing to see the variation in colour! The pale one was really quite striking in person (in spider?). I've never seen one so pale. Both beautiful ladies! 😍

I've just been immersed in a mixed flock of Long-tailed Tits, Great Tits, Blue Tits and Willow Warblers! Two Pied Flycatchers joined briefly, then a couple of Spot Flys to balance things out! Cracking start to the day - just a shame I have to work now. 🙃🫠
