Quality signing this and very good replacement for Stone. Letโs hope there is no fallout with Cooper mid season and he gets full season with us. Rovers have two keepers on their books so shouldnโt be need for him to be recalled. #YTFC.

What a shame to see the @onedaycup ๐ leave at the end of this season but understandable as clearly wants to be playing in all formats. Hope he finds another county. As for us big recruitment drive needed this winter if the rumours of Aldridge, Davey and Green leaving are true.

En route home from great cricket watching week away firstly at @TrentBridge to support @SomersetCCC on flat pitch for 3 days then ending at New Road Worcester. Relieved Somerset batted out for the inevitable draw after little wobble. Just a shame the pitch wasnโt more sporting.

We have had our one wicket for the session chaps @antgib @bracecricket. Think we can all go home as two falling would be too greedy. Some might say tomorrow could be interesting with the tricky third innings but I beg to differ. Still this is Somerset and anything is possible.

@CleaveO @SomersetCCC @somersetpodcast I inspected it too. There is 'long' grass on the actual surface it's just dead. Very odd colour to it from the start. Never seen a pitch like it at TB. Normally they are green tops or straw coloured. Ben Slater said abt fungus as the cause & Ben had talked to our groundsman.
