PSEA retiree Robert McVay and his wife are struggling in his retirement without an increase to his pension- he’s received the same amount since he retired in 1998.

Public employee retirees are struggling to live as their retirement pensions cannot keep up with the rising cost of inflation. @SenatorMuth has legislation that would address this serious issue for our retired teachers, municipal employees and more.

Main sponsor of the Senate bill, @SenatorMuth, is urging her Republican colleagues in the senate to support this long-overdue cost of living increase for pre Act 9 public sector retirees.

You might notice there’s a bicameral, bipartisan slew of lawmakers here today in support of this COLA for pre-Act 9 retirees. It’s clearly the right thing to do.
