Pennsylvania ratepayers are already subsidizing Big Tech’s grid build-out across the PJM region. Now, the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission is considering decisions that could lock in even more cost-shifting onto everyday households and small businesses.

These resources reflect a commitment to meeting real community needs. I have endless gratitude to our local first responders, municipal employees, and local government employees who continue to protect and advocate for our communities.

This $6.5 million in grants for projects in SD 44 will help repair aging roads and bridges, upgrade stormwater and sewer systems, enhance emergency response capabilities, expand access to parks and trails, and modernize township facilities that residents rely on every day.

38 projects across Senate District 44 have been awarded more than $6.5 million through the state’s Local Share Account program. This LSA program funding delivers critical support to communities across the Commonwealth and right here in our district.

Yesterday, my team and I took some time to celebrate the holidays with mini golf and food at Netflix House. Working in the dome of corruption can sometimes feel like the Upside Down, but serving the people of Senate District 44 makes it all worth it.

Wishing these cadets continued success as they move into the next phase and begin the 24-month mentorship program.

Earlier this fall, I visited Fort Indiantown Gap as Democratic Chair of the Senate Veterans Affairs & Emergency Preparedness Committee and heard directly from cadets about how KSCA helped them find a new path forward, build confidence, and rediscover their potential.

Congratulations to the 75 cadets who just completed the Keystone State ChalleNGe Academy’s 22-week residential program.

If a company wants to use enormous amounts of electricity, it should pay its fair share and meet strong, enforceable standards. If you support protecting ratepayers & keeping costs down for families, call your state senator & urge them to sign on to the Ratepayer Protection Act.

The bill blocks large energy users from pushing infrastructure costs onto residents and requires that during grid emergencies, large, noncritical loads are curtailed first to keep homes, hospitals, and essential services powered.

My bill, the Pennsylvania Ratepayer Protection Act, is about standing up for residential consumers and creates a separate service class for large electric load customers so the full cost is not shifted onto families or small businesses.

We’re grateful to the staff at the Victim Services Center and the Montgomery County Prothonotary’s Office for their partnership, and to every community member who donated to help bring comfort, creativity, and care to kids who need it most.
