Tom is spot on. It’s not remotely progressive to cancel a programme, mid year, that teaches Latin in state schools. It’s a vindictive policy driven by ideology & it’s the poorest pupils that will suffer. Let’s hope this isn’t a taste of what is to come with the curriculum review.
