Thanks to @UCLBrainScience for this award! I’ve worked with an amazing team over the past 3 years aiming to remove barriers to accessing education at our insititute and improving student experience. Lots more work to get on with! @UCLIoN_EDI

As floods & fires rise, oceans boil & ice melts, and "safe" temperatures are breached, something momentous just happened in the heart of the EU. No one has heard about it: journalists were present, but their editors refused to publish 🤯. 🧵, please RT. #BeyondGrowth2023 1/

I had the most incredible time at the #EDSAT23 meeting, so many inspiring and motivational talks from scientists, clinicians and patient families! Very honoured to have received the best presentation award 😊 Especially in the presence of Charlotte Dravet!!

What’s life like @LignaniLab_UCL? We went behind the scenes to hear about inventing breakthrough gene therapies, moving to #256GraysInnRoad, lab highlights & what to expect in a PhD student's typical day. @UKDRI @uclh @UCLBrainScience @HealthUCL https://t.co/6XJ0nFWKm4

Incredibly happy to share this paper from our lab published in @ScienceMagazine yesterday! I’m super grateful to have been able to contribute to this fantastic study by @sophieqyc_q and to have my beloved assembloids feature in there 😊

Could not recommend this course more!! I was lucky to attend the first edition pre-Covid and coming from a non-organoid field it’s been the single most helpful thing I’ve done for my PhD! If you’re into neural organoid research, don’t miss it!

Please RT. PhD students funded by @UKRI_News face a cash crisis. They are working full-time, yet earning less than living wage. With the rising cost of living and increasing pressure to deliver high quality research that benefits society, something needs to change. THREAD (1/10)
