PRIVACY = LIBERTY 🇺🇸 Fighting EdTech & Data Collection since 2013 Exposing the Education-Industrial Complex Our Founders wrote anonymously Digital ID = EVIL

Not to belabor the point - ok maybe belaboring just a little - but every state already puts parents first by codifying their responsibility to keep their children safe. It's all done. Easy. No big govt needed, esp when it's clear that there is a lack of understanding of the

It's time to put parents first. It's time to hold Big Tech accountable for putting their profits over child safety. Get the facts about the App Store Accountability Act👇🏾

So are they saying Roblox will be safe now by requiring information such as ID from parents before their children can use it?
Video games are one of modern kids’ most popular hobbies. It is essential that they are safe when playing online. @CongressmanKean’s Safer GAMING Act, included in the KIDS Act, does that by requiring tools that allow parents to limit communication features, financial

"Breaking the Addictive Nature of Social Media" BY increasing the SURVEILLANCE STATE. Our Founders wrote anonymously, so should WE! BIGTech would be BIGMad if PARENTS just took kids devices away.
Online platforms have become increasingly personalized, making social media more addictive than ever before for minors. The KIDS Act fixes this, prohibiting platforms from defaulting to personalized addictive algorithm-driven feeds for minors.

That is right, and their republican constituents WILL NEVER forget what they are doing.
Republicans are using kids as a smokescreen for what Big Tech lobbyists want: a national surveillance program to harvest our data with zero protections for people and their privacy. We must fight this dangerous expansion of surveillance technology.

I have a question for @Moms4Liberty. When you create an anonymous account Attempt to download anonymously from an app store To post anonymously like our Founders did: Please advise exactly how they will use what they ALREADY have on your anonymous ID to validate your app
The App Store Accountability Act is a win for parents & families: 📱Parental permission for ALL minors’ app downloads 💼Informed consent from ONE secure interface 📑NO digital ID - using what they already have @HouseCommerce #PasstheAppStoreAccountabilityAct

@Moms4Liberty @HouseCommerce This act does not protect children, and it's not about "age verification." Please take some time to listen to @juliecbarrett and @CitizensLight on this. These "conservative" bills will require everyone (not just kids) to submit to the digital ID system.

I am not convinced the College Board is not massively scamming kids all out of money. I mean cancellation fees for not taking a digital exams that you already paid a nice fee to take. Must be a big hardship for the College Board to not have a kid sign-in to their app to

Here is what is probably happening: Legislators who do not understand TECH accept legislation written by the TECH industry as a solution to a problem BigTech created. Legislators pass it off to parents and citizens as a way to "protect kids" from the TECH industry.
Proposals that effectively mandate digital services check IDs will make the internet more dangerous, especially for teens. Just this week, now 419 cybersecurity and privacy experts from 30 countries worldwide warned that this approach diminishes online privacy and security.

A "Myth vs. Fact" document from @HouseCommerce attempts to downplay the severe privacy, security, and constitutional risks associated with mandatory, sweeping age verification and digital ID. Here is a step-by-step rebuttal from NetChoice to each of their claims.👇

As I pointed out when DeSantis signed HB3 in 2024 (Florida's version of KOSA). These laws are ANTI-parental rights. ANTI-Privacy. ANTI-Free Speech.
A sweeping House bill dropped Tuesday that bundles several pieces of legislation, including the unconstitutional Kids Online Safety Act. KOSA pushes a dangerous “papers, please” model for internet access and hands the government broad power to censor content it doesn’t like

1) Parents are being sold the lie that they have to adopt addictive BigTech surveillance tech for their kids, or they will be left behind. 2) Then parents cannot control the tech and their kids face harm. 3) Then BigTech sells them a solution that is Anti-Liberty and takes away
@CitizensLight Yeah but parents reduce the issue to one question "Wow! Does this mean I get to do nothing?! Sign me in!"

Sorry not buying it. They will find a way to foist the cost of their soulless tech on We the People.
Trump’s new Ratepayer Protection Pledge ensures tech giants fund the power and infrastructure needed for AI, not everyday Americans. https://t.co/TR64FH9rme

You can't control BigTech and AI, but you can make people believe you are...
AI isn’t going away, but that doesn’t mean we ignore the risks. Glad to see the FL Senate pass the AI Bill of Rights to bring greater transparency and put common-sense protections in place for Floridians, especially our children.

Many people still aren't using usernames on @Signalapp. Usernames let you message without revealing your number, but many people still confuse them with profile names or aren’t sure how to use them. Here’s a quick guide to how they work, how to set one up, & how to find others.

More propaganda from the @HouseCommerce committee. JUST YESTERDAY a @Rasmussen_Poll revealed what adults in U.S. think actually think about Parents & Children on the Internet. CC: @USRepGaryPalmer, #Alabama
The numbers don’t lie! The OVERWHELMING majority of voters agree—app stores should have to verify users’ age to prevent minors from downloading apps without parental consent. It’s not controversial, it’s common sense.

I am sure it is a hard pill for conservatives to swallow, but our legislature has been and is still pushing laws that are anti-Liberty and surveillance-state oriented. For years I have been watching these tech-related laws filter through the system. At first wondering why our
KOSA is Anti-Parental Rights, Anti-Privacy, and Anti-Free Speech Legislation. A reminder of who was there to support the signing of Florida's version of KOSA in 2024. Gov. DeSantis, Former Speaker of the House Paul Renner, Senator Erin Grall, Former Attorney General Ashley
