For Dubliners who may be interested, the Tolka as seen from the water. The banks of our rivers are abused & neglected. There's much that could be done along large stretches of many urban rivers to increase habitat & wildlife, both above & below the water.

If the flood event we saw in Spain this week were to happen every year, the area would become inhabitable. At least with the current model of society. One example: cars would definitely be non-starters (pun intended). They'd likely become uninsurable.

This tree below was removed within the hour, on a Sunday evening, even though it was just a quiet back-road. OTOH, the S2SN, a busy cycle commuter route, & the Dodder way at the Aviva were still blocked off mid-morning 2day well after Ashley was gone
Random moment in Dublin. Rowan Tree down. Never nice to see the loss of a mature tree, but the silver lining is that the road will be safer now that drivers can't use it.

Fixing a puncture on a cargo-bike is a pain in the ass. Not a cargo-bike issue per se, but having Schwalbe marathon plus tires certainly doesn't help to make it any easier.

The proliferation of electric motorbikes & delimited pedelacs is a real issue. They're everywhere & a goddamn pain in the arse. They also look like regular bikes so they'll be adding to the already negative image that people on bicycles have. @dublincycling @IrishCycle

Could we get a convex mirror placed on this pole. I've had multiple close-calls when approaching this junction from both directions with both people on bikes & people walking. It's the junction at Alfie Byrne & E Link Business Park. @DublinCityBeta @donna_cooney1
