Organized (and casted) my first ever LAN and nothing went wrong! I'm still amazed. I was also the main reason SLOHUB relaunched, so seeing the season finale finally wrap up was a special kind of relief.

One of my biggest peeves when remote casting through VMIX is how delayed reactions are to the viewer. From my POV I stopped saying "yes" when the stab happened, but for the viewer that's when I started speaking.

We opened a LAN center in 2025‼️. Our team and many local communities are going to get so much use out of this place. I'm really excited about all the stuff we have planned for it. The sky truly is the limit once you get a base of operations like this.

I kept up with general video games as a hobby for years and saw them slowly consumed by very vocal groups that clearly didn't enjoy them at all. It was very sad to watch, but thankfully I'm not seeing the same trend in the quite mainstream CS.

This is why I gravitated toward esports. Tourists can't have any cultural influence until they get good at the games, at which point they are no longer tourists. It's like built-in gatekeeping. The developer can't dumb the game down too hard either, since that'd kill it outright.

It's interesting how #StopKillingGames had to be part of TWO news cycles in the gaming space, get promoted by many major streamers, and now endorsements from the biggest gaming youtubers as well. and it's STILL not at 1,000,000 signatures. The hobby is smaller than we realize.
