The IWA-Sport Para-Athletics Grand Prix took place this past Saturday, July 9th, at SETU Carlow. A packed entry-list promised a competitive day on both track and field and the athletes certainly delivered.

My thought would be that no program (or exercise) can possibly be optimal unless the athlete fully 'believes' in the value of the session and 'expects' positive adaptation. Whether they enjoy it is related, but (depending on defn) probably not critical
can a training / exercise prescription be 'optimal' if the individual it is prescribed for doesn't enjoy it?
