#NPHET proposal of a 5pm closing time for hospitality is just not acceptable. It will have an enormous impact on businesses while driving large numbers back into unregulated settings at this time of year. Cabinet need to compromise on an alternative based on sound logic.

Closing the pubs at 5pm is not going to play out well. Curious to see what the Government does with this recommendation. Safe to say NPHET have, by and large, lost the room. They might have some argument if they were more proactive in schools but, of course, they haven't been.
