My vote by mail request was rejected. I’ve voted in every election and have voted by mail for the past 12 years. I’ve had a Texas driver’s license for 50 years. The vote by mail application asked for a driver’s license number or the last 4 of my SS # if I didn’t have a DL. ½

I was told they now need the last 4 # of my SS#. This is voter suppression by Governor Greg Abbot. Nothing will keep me from voting since I live a couple of blocks from my voting place and am healthy enough to walk there and wait in line but I’m afraid there are many who can’t!

Not 1/2, Anyway, I was rejected because they didn’t recognize my DL number! The application said it was optional to include my email address and phone # so I didn’t. Texas now requires a new vote by mail request application for every election. I’m waiting for the rejection letter

That happened to me in Texas during the last election! Apparently, my drivers license number hadn’t been recorded when I started voting in the 80’s! Anyway, I applied for a new voter card and it’s fixed (for now). Republicans don’t want us to be able to vote them out!
