I recall a similar wave of applause for the Phoenix Suns last year for signing Tyus Jones because they “got a real PG” for so cheap. It’s apples and oranges bc the Magic have a defensive infrastructure, but it’s not fair to Tyus to keep overrating him like this.
This is so funny. Hollinger says Orlando, "Finally has a real point guard who can get into the paint." Last year, out of 170 qualifying players in the NBA, Tyus Jones had the 12th fewest paint touches per-game. He had fewer paint touches per-game than every ORL player last season.
