all of my hand-tracked passing and playmaking metrics for 2025 NBA draft prospects are now available to view and sort! if you need a refresher or haven't read it already, i went in-depth about my process for creating these below. and, wow, the 2025 rookie class is delivering:

one of my main goals as someone who now makes and publishes comparisons is to scale them relative to prospect quality it’s the number one most important thing to do when making draft comps imo
You know what never gets old? NBA comps for draft prospects "35th overall: Player A Pro Comp: AJ Griffin 36th overall: Player B Pro Comp: Isaiah Hartenstein 37th overall: Player C Pro Comp: Andrew Nembhard" Either find a different comp, or change the ranking lol

this felt like one of AJ’s better passing games and the charting checked out — 37.5% big time passing rate with 11 potential assists were both the highest marks of his season and here are all 6 of dybantsa’s big time passes against clemson, strong accuracy and rim passing
through nine games, AJ dybantsa's passing turnover rate (7.1%) and weak-hand passing rate (14.3%) both would have ranked second (to knueppel and queen) among the 2025 prospects I tracked he's an underrated playmaker who's flashed some promising stuff as a passer so far
